Our client, a well respected property/casualty niche underwriter, has an opening for a Worker’s Compensation Claims Supervisor in their Portland, OR office.
This position will be responsible for the management and development of 10+ claims professionals, both in office and in remote locations.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven leadership experience and strong technical expertise in WC law (CA and OR) and claims handling, including litigation. Must be someone who is analytical with a keen business sense who understands what makes insurance companies profitable. The ability to work well in a customer focused environment is important. The ability to communicate in Spanish (verbal and written) is a plus. Insurance designation preferred.
