Sr. National Accounts Casualty Underwriter

Recognized and growing Property and Casualty Insurance company is seeking National Accounts Casualty Underwriters for their Chicago Operation.  Candidates must have strong experience in large account casualty (GL, Auto, WC) underwriting.  CGL will be the driving line of business and therefore should be the strength of the successful underwriter.
 
Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years' experience underwriting individual commercial casualty risks in excess of $500K in premium
• Experience with loss-sensitive plans such as large deductibles and retros
• Exposure to large national programs would be ideal, but not required.
• Must have strong relationships with large national brokers in the Midwest.
• 4 year college degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office application, particularly with Word and Excel
• Strong business development and communications skills
• Good analytical skills
