(Sr.) Commercial Lines Underwriter

We are assisting our client, a well established insurance and financial services company, to find an experienced Commercial Lines Underwriter for their Austin, TX location.

This position will be responsible for the underwriting of new P&C small commercial accounts in multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate:

• A well- organized self-starter with strong analytical, decision making and communication skills

• Lots of positive energy

• Works well independently as well as in a team setting

• Working knowledge of MS Office Suite programs

• Bachelors Degree (must have)

• Insurance Designation or willingness to pursue

• 1-3+ years of CL underwriting experience
