StoneMor Partners, L.P. is a growing organization that is looking for a full-time Preplanning Counselor to drive our initiative in the Salem, OR and surrounding market.  As a Preplanning Counselor, you will make a positive impact by educating families on the benefits of advance funeral planning.

Responsibilities:

• On a daily basis, sells StoneMor products and services to existing and potential individual customers, associations, nursing homes, and other organizations.
• Provides the highest level of service by effectively responding to client/customer pre-need problems or questions both during and after the sales process.
• During the sales process, provides information on products, identifies costs, and arranges financing terms and effectively closes the sale.
• Regularly identifies own leads and schedules presentations to meet assigned quotas. 
• Regularly interacts with Regional Sales Manager to provide input of prior day’s activities and maintain knowledge of current company offerings.

Requirements of Preplanning Counselor:

• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience/education.
• Active life & health insurance license.
• 3+ years of insurance experience with proven sales background and track record.
• Experience in end of life planning is highly preferred.
• Highest regard to integrity and ethical conduct.
• Strong written/verbal presentation and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently to specific performance standards and goals.
• Ability to travel in assigned territory.
• Strong drive to succeed and self-motivated.
• Motivated by helping others.
