We are assisting our client, a well-established insurance and financial services company, to find an experienced Insurance Business Manager for their Claims LOB in southern CA. This is NOT a Claims Manager psoition.

This position will have responsibility for comprehensive operational data analysis for the entire claims LOB as well as managing a team of employees. This requires advanced understanding of business areas ( financial, indeminity, expenses, objectives, performance indicators, personnnel, operations, planning).

The ideal candidate will have a college degree (preferably in Business or Finance) and experience or a strong understanding of insurance and claims. 10+ years of progressive experience including 5+ years of menoring and developing others.

*Must Have: Proficiency in Advanced Excel Access and Powerpoint and experience working with data systems such as SAP or Oracle.

  • Competent in Finance and Business Intelligence Systems
  • Understanding of atatistical analysis and analytical concepts
  • Understanding of business organizations and relationships
  • Corporate experience
