Director, Benefits Underwriting & Analytics; Orlando, FL

Our client, a strong broker in central Florida, is doing succession planning for a Director of Finance and Analytics in their substantial health and group benefits practice. This person will be responsible for managing a team, assisting clients in strategic decisions regarding their health benefit plans, providing financial performance reports, analyses and recommendations regarding funding options, analyzing health care cost and utilization trends and communicating to clients, working on RFPs, and managing negotiations with carriers on the client's behalf. Must have 8+ years of strong technical underwriting or actuarial experience in self-funded group health along with some team leadership or management, from a carrier and/or broker, excellent communication skills and a strong desire to be involved with a growing healthcare organization and a great team.
