Growing insurance company is seeking a Director of Underwriting. This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership in underwriting and working with Senior Executives to establish and execute long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. Collaborates to develop, refine and implement the strategic direction of the Underwriting function within the company. The Directory of Underwriting will lead continuous transformation of the underwriting function into a more mature, efficient and effective operation.
Qualified candidates will have expert knowledge of property and casualty products, insurance operations, finance and actuarial concepts, regulatory environment, re-insurance, underwriting and account management. Advanced degree desired, as well as 15-20 years related insurance and management experience.
