Top insurance broker in the Jacksonville FL area is seeking an experienced Group Benefits Sr. Account Manager or Account Manager. This position will assist an Account Executive in managing and coordinating all the day-to-day client service activities for medium to large accounts. Must have a good basic understanding of both fully insured and self-funding underwriting. Responsibilities include financial analysis and reporting, helping to develop creative work solutions for each client, interacting with vendors, carriers and internal staff, managing the renewal process, conducting enrollment meetings and developing employee communications. Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in group benefits, from a brokerage/consulting firm or carrier. Should possess strong financial, computer and communications skills with the ability solve complex benefits issues and think quickly on your feet. Bachelor's degree and insurance designations are highly preferred.
