Surplus Lines/MGA Broker
Our client is seeking an experienced applicant that has wholesale/MGA/ brokerage or production underwriting experience. The viable candidate is expected to broker/underwrite no less than 2 x their annual agreed salary in retained income including an available renewal book.
The client is a growing Commercial P&C brokerage /MGA company seeking a highly organized Licensed (2-20) production underwriter with no less than 3 years Commercial Insurance experience.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a FL Licensed P&C 2-20.
-Minimum of three years of commercial brokerage and/or production underwriting experience.
-Experience in both admitted and surplus lines placements/underwriting.
-Must have the ability to work well under pressure in a changing environment both independently and as part of a team.
-Should have excellent communication and computer skills as well as a working knowledge of paperless files, MS Office applications and on line rating and underwriting portals.
-Candidate must be motivated to produce new accounts, retain renewals and consistently forge new retail agency relationships.
The available salary is consummate to the candidates prior work experience.
