The primary responsibility of the company marketing representative is to increase sales and brand awareness by developing and expanding new and existing business, while working closely with the independent agent network. Acting as the "link" with agents, this position will determine best solutions for their agents assisting in resolution of any concerns from the agents. This company writes a variety of commercial package (middle market) and personal lines business.

Responsibilities:

Increase sales through the independent agent channel to increase market penetration and brand awareness.
Establish and maintain a strong presence within your territory.
Deliver presentations and seminars on our program to agents via face to face, webinars, PowerPoint, or over the phone.
Create and manage pipeline and territory coverage plan.
Work collaboratively with the company team to help develop a comprehensive sales strategy for all products and programs that assures optimal customer satisfaction.
Utilize all company allocated resources to effectively drive and meet/exceed sales goals
Always represent the company brand in a professional manner on the phone, in writing and in-person.
Requirements:
BS, BA Degree Required
Must have five years of proven outside sales/marketing experience, insurance marketing experience is preferred. Commercial underwriting background strongly preferred.
Variable travel within territory. 40% travel
Excellent presentation skills
Results-oriented, with outstanding organizational and planning skills
Strong interpersonal and written communication skills with leadership abilities
Proficient user of MS Office Products: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
