Work Comp Claims Assistant; Sarasota, FL

Regional insurance organization is looking to hire a Work Comp Claims Assistant to work out of their Sarasota, Florida area office.  Individual will be responsible for assisting the claim manager and the claim staff by providing clerical and administrative support to help assure timely and effective departmental work flow. This is an entry level position. Great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door and learn about insurance claims handling. An Adjusters licenses is not a requirement for this position.  To qualify, candidates should have at least one year of claims admin assistance experience. Knowledge of work comp claims experience is a plus. Will consider recent college graduates with a BS degree in Risk Management & Insurance other applicable business disciplines for this opportunity.
