Senior Claims Adjuster, Casualty- Florida (work remote available)

A growing Property & Casualty Insurance carrier is currently seeking a Senior Casualty Claim Adjuster to provide quality, cost efficient, and timely investigation of commercial general liability claims. This position will be responsible for maintaining an inventory of claims handled within departmental guidelines, following best practices policies and procedures and budgetary guidelines, conducting field investigations, negotiating limited settlements, setting reserves, attending mediations and documenting all file activity.  The focus will be complex general liability claims including construction defect related claims.

Qualified individuals must have a minimum of four years of commercial casualty adjusting experience with a strong competency in handling claims from cradle to grave. This person must have prior experience in coverage analysis and litigation management, strong negotiating skills, and experience in mediations. Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are a must as is a valid driver's license and safe driving record.

Preference given to candidates open to the Sarasota area but work remote is available for the right candidate in Florida.
