If not then they will have you work from home and possibly grow an office in your city. They want a person that has contacts and a proven track record as a binding authority underwriter. Their expertise is in small to middle market hard to place business. Many unique markets as well. Must be sales driven, “people person” who likes to establish new relationships while learning communication strategies and sales methods. Assess new business submissions and negotiate terms, by selecting the markets that can provide the most coverage at the best price.
