As part of the Home Office Sales Organization, builds organization sales capability by influencing sales execution through improved sales discipline and selling skills. Successfully integrates and executes sales processes and strategies to increase sales productivity. Owns and drives sales strategy support through collaborative partnerships throughout the organization. Works in collaboration with Sales leadership, Product, and Sales Analytics to influence and drive Small Commercial Sales strategies that create a competitive advantage and drive growth. This job does not manage others This job works under Broad Oversight: Receives guidance in terms of broad goals and overall objectives and establishes the methods to attain them. Generally the incumbent is in charge of an area of work and typically formulates policy for this area, but may have final authority for approving policy.
Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Sales Best Practices: Refreshes Sales Best Practices and creates Sales Playbooks for both Inside and Outside sales. Understands and maps our defined sales processes. Build relationships with field sales through ongoing engagement, including travel, to influence sales practices and performance. Understand the DNA of high performing sales executives, sales directors and sales teams. Provide a voice for the field in Home Office. Supports Sales Directors on sales coaching discipline with best practices to deliver more effective sale performance. Plays a key role in building a sales effectiveness auditing program to measure sales performance. Drive countrywide adoption of sales best practices to achieve excellence in sales execution and create countrywide consistency. Participate in shaping the organizational and cultural strategies to support ongoing innovation and change. Act as a change agent for critical sales initiatives. Sales Implementation and Onboarding: Assist in developing go-to-market strategies for specific initiatives and partner with 2VP Sales Analytics to build metrics and analytics, ensuring the sales team always has the right information and tools to execute. Act as sales subject matter expert (SME) to recommend innovative solutions to cross functional business partners. Pro-actively identify opportunities for performance improvements and collaborate effectively to develop solutions. Perform other duties as assigned.

Must have exceptional influencing skills as well as the ability to translate technical language into layman's terms and vice versa Experience leading and influencing people and processes Experience building sales onboarding and development programs Functional knowledge of Commercial Lines products and services Strategic & tactical leadership Management skills and discipline Business and financial acumen Strategic agility Platform skills, including facilitation Technical sales & marketing and include superior knowledge of selling through intermediaries and distributors Excellent sales skills and ability to coach and mentor Interpersonal and communication skills 5+ years insurance marketing or sales experience preferred Proven managerial experience and 2+ years of leadership experience 4 years college degree or business equivalent preferred
