Job Summary
Independently uses data tools to analyze, program and work with complex data (characterized by type, quality and/or volume). Reviews and solves data problems. This job does not manage others This job works under General Supervision: Incumbent independently performs a variety of duties, including potentially complex duties within established policy guidelines; responsible for a defined set of assignments (e.g. assigned customers, claims or other specified set of responsibilities); is expected to set priorities and meet specific goals and objectives of the function or unit. (Typically pertains to advanced/operational, senior professional, unit supervisor)

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Data Acquisition, Development and Exploration: Independently extracts, loads and transforms complex data. Makes recommendations for the most complex (characterized by type, quality and/or volume) data. Works with complex data (characterized by type, quality and/or volume), reviews unfamiliar data sources. Able to link complex data across different sources and systems. Documents, develops and/or implement data transformation rules and frameworks to create or populate a consumable data product. Works in accordance with established governance and best practices. Independently reviews and solves complex data problems. Interacts with IT partners and business users independently. Profiles complex data (characterized by type, quality and/or volume) to determine structure, attributes and relationships. May manage small scale projects and coordinate aspects of larger projects with limited supervision. Provides technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced employees. Builds effective relationships with stakeholders. Ensures customer satisfaction through professional communication, follow-up, and responsiveness to issues. Actively seeks opportunities to expand technical and business knowledge and capabilities. Utilizes business knowledge to explain technical activities in business terms. Applies knowledge of current industry trends and techniques to formulate solutions within the context of assigned projects. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
3 years of relevant experience with data tools, techniques, and manipulation required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's Degree - STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or Business preferred. 5 years of relevant experience with data tools, techniques, and manipulation preferred.

Experience with MongoDB preferred

Experience with Talend preferred
