Job Description

The Strategic Deployment Manager is responsible for supporting the execution of strategy and driving

necessary changes in the organization for key business initiatives. Help execute and direct projects that

analyze strategic alternatives in depth so that opportunities, short and long term financial implications, risks and

opportunities are well understood. Work across multiple functions and businesses to identify issues and assess

financial and organizational impact. Help make recommendations and drive organizational alignment and

decision making. Review existing strategies to ensure alignment with overall Distribution and Agency of the

Future strategy. Provide insights and perspective on key project components that will impact current and future


Key Responsibilities

Lead program level initiatives for Strategic Deployment including strategy execution, data gathering,

analyses, and communication that provide actionable recommendations; develop presentations that

articulate findings and recommendations as well as facilitate leadership decision making and alignment

for internal and external stakeholders

Recommend, enroll and gain cross-functional alignment on the approach for and process of developing

and refining strategies for the Agency of the Future Programs

Develop and communicate program progress and integration in key priorities to senior leadership to gain


Develop team members by defining and prioritizing problem solving and consultative skills and

capabilities, providing on-the-job development opportunities and managing succession through internal

and external recruiting

Collaborate with AORs / BUs across the enterprise to influence and contribute to the companys

strategic objectives and support AOR / BU goals.

Effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor delivery - resources/ expenses/ financial

plans/ benefits, etc.

Lead and inspire work units/teams through performance reviews, coaching, succession planning,

budgets and development plans

Achieve results through high performance environment, identifying success criteria/metrics,

communicating results to all stakeholders and managing course corrections and innovation

Proactively develop future talent

Job Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Successful track record in development and delivery of Strategy and translate business objectives into
  • action plans
  • Sccessful track record of organization and complex project/program management skills and systemic thinking
  • Successful track record of relationship management and leadership skills, and organizational savvy
  • Successful track record in the ability to influence others, structuring and presenting documents to
  • effectively communicate with and inspire trust of cross-functional partners and mid to senior level
  • management, driving alignment and decision making
  • Successful track record in strategic and analytical skills, providing critical thinking and solving complex
  • problems
