Our client, a well- respected property/casualty specialty insurance provider, has a challenging opportunity for a Commercial Lines Casualty Claims Manager with experience in NY Labor Law and Excess/Umbrella .
This position with be responsible for leading, motivating and training a team of six claims professionals (both in-house and remote) who handle claims in multiple jurisdictions.
The ideal candidate:
⦁ Bachelor’s Degree
⦁ Insurance designation (s) preferred
⦁ 8+ years of NY Labor Law experience
⦁ 3+ years in a supervisory capacity
⦁ Effective leadership, training and staff development skills
⦁ Strong client focus
⦁ Polished verbal and written communication skills.
⦁ Proficient in use of Windows and MS Office Suite programs
