Established insurance company located in Cleveland, Ohio, is seeking an experienced Chief Operations Officer to add to their senior management team. The COO will oversee daily business activities and provide direct support to the CEO. This role will also manage a staff of agents, underwriters and office assistants.
Responsibilities:
•Implement business strategies, plans and procedures
•Set and maintain company goals for sustainable growth
•Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
•Develop new and innovative business concepts
•Oversee and evaluate employee performance
•Attend Board of Director meetings and maintain documentation
Requirements:
•10 + years in a management role and experience in life insurance operations
•Vast knowledge of business procedures
•Bachelor’s degree required; industry designations, JD or MBA a plus
