AVP - Product Development

General Placement Service is currently working with a highly rated insurance carrier that is seeking a leader in their product development unit.  Our client brings multiple, exciting new products into the insurance market every year and this role will be tasked with creating these new products from start to finish. 

The AVP will manage new product development interfacing with every company department to successfully bring new products to market.  This role is very autonomous in nature and requires the candidate to be able to handle multiple projects with minimal oversight.  Essentially, you will be the subject matter expert for product development. 

To be qualified candidates must have a minimum of 5 years product development experience in commercial lines with exposure to complex type classes a must.  Experience in California and NY is highly preferred in this role.  Candidates with experience in forms, filings, and compliance are preferred as well.
