An insuretech company in New York City seeks a knowledgeable commercial property underwriter for a consulting assignment. The company is constantly innovating and developing new platforms for insurance companies. As a result, their product developers, software developers and engineers need guidance from someone with an insurance perspective on how these tools will best be received, implemented and utilized.
Commercial Property Insurance Underwriter (Assignment Details)
- Anticipated length of assignment: 3-4 months
- Weekly time commitment: 10-15 hours.
- Location: Work-from-home with on-site visits in the NYC office as needed (maybe 1-2 days/week
Desired qualifications: At least 7-10 years of commercial property underwriting experience. Knowledge of rating, forms and ISO products (commercial property). Able to answer questions on policy/product design and underwriting processes.
