Client is an internationally recognized organization providing property and liability claims services to the insurance industry and major corporations in the United States. Due to significant growth, our client is searching for a qualified candidate to fill a Lead Field Property Adjuster out of Orlando.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct prompt, thorough and fair investigations by obtaining relevant facts to determine coverage, origin, and extent of loss.
• Document damage and prepare written estimates using Xactimate software.
• Engage and manage consultants/independent contractors to assist in determining facts, causation, damage and exposure.
• Keep the client and the insured informed about the claim status with clear, timely and accurate written/oral communication.
• Negotiate settlement of claims of varying complexity under the general direction of the Claims Manager or Supervisor.
• Travel to loss locations in assigned territory

Job Requirements

• College degree
• 5+ years handling property insurance claims
• Commercial experience is preferred
• Xactimate experience
