Summary of overall underwriting responsibility for the Program portfolio include:
- Strategy and Planning
- Profitability
- Production
- Regular collaboration with other Specialty Program departments which include Actuarial, Regulatory/Compliance, Product Development, Finance, Claim, Operations, Legal, Loss Control, Marketing and Premium Audit
- Reinsurance
- Member of the following:
Collateral Committee - meets monthly
Product Development Committee - meets as needed
New Business Review Committee - meets as needed
Litigation Committee - meets quarterly
- Participation in monthly business review meetings with company's executives
- Communication and collaboration with other company corporate and business personnel
- Management of staff in Underwriting, Loss Control, Premium Audit and Product Line Specialists
- Management of Portfolio mix by Line of Business, Class/Segment and Geography
- Program Administrator relationship management
- Conference attendance
- Travel as required
