Program Manager – Captive Insurance - Voluntary Benefits
In this insurance job, Captive Insurance Program Manager- Voluntary Benefits, you have extremely important duties to support the sales, service and underwriting process for a relatively new alternative division of a global broker.
Location: A remote, work-at-home position, you can be located anywhere in the U.S. You’ll report to the Captive Practice Leader in Philadelphia which is where you’ll go every other week for new hire training for the first 1-2 months on the job. Transportation and extended stay expenses are paid for by the company.
Characteristics of the Job: C-Suite client interaction (Controllers, Head of Risk and CFOs), ‘make your mark’ career opportunity (newer division supporting the practice leader), and new challenges each day (break away from the mundane analysis of typical risk management divisions).
Necessary Experience: At least three (3) years developing subject matter captive expertise. Work with the following Property and Casualty and Worksite Benefits insurance products: accident, critical care, life, disability, legal, personal lines, warranty programs and ID theft.
- With advanced knowledge of MS Excel and PowerPoint, create presentations outlining your work with reinsurance agreements, data acquisition, underwriting (modeling, projections) and plan design.
- Prior work experience is one or the other: A Fortune 1,000 company’s risk management department (captive risk analysis or program management) OR the Captive Solutions division of an insurance consulting firm.
