Claims Manager Ft. Lauderdale

Top P&C Insurance Company is looking for a Claims Manager to oversee inside Adjusters that are responsible for handling claims from start to finish. Will provide direction to the team on proper claims handling, provide ongoing training and general supervision of inside and external staff. Conduct file reviews, assign claims, handle more complex and difficult cases that require larger settlements to negotiate and attend mediations as needed. Must be an effective communicator and a leader in the claims space. Will assist in the hiring and training process. Support team during any catastrophes which include heavy workload and long hours. Job requirements include 2+ years’ of supervisory experience in a claims leadership role with strong knowledge of homeowners property claims.
