Senior Sales Manager / Practice Leader, Construction Risks - Texas
Our client is a Top 100 National Broker, with multiple offices around the country. They are searching for a Senior Sales Manager/Practice Leader for their Construction risk operation in Houston. This position will oversee Sales, Client Executives, Account Managers, and Administration.  Primary responsibilities will include revenue retention and the recruiting, hiring, training, and development of a professional business development staff.  Candidates will have responsibility for a large existing book of construction business, as well as managing the construction practice as a whole. Our client is willing to provide relocation assistance for qualified candidates from anywhere in the country.

Other responsibilities include:

• Evaluation of ongoing insurance needs of clients
• Interface with carriers on key service aspects for the client
• implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy
• Building relationships with internal and external team members to grow the existing book of business

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Client Executive in a Property and Casualty brokerage firm
• Extensive experience in the Construction industry in a top tier insurance brokerage
• Solid track record for growth
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent years of industry experience
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Strong technical and analytical skills utilizing industry tools
• ARM or other insurance designations are a plus
