New Opportunity - Senior Construction Defect Adjuster

Immediate opening to be placed in Denver CO, Irvine CA, San Francisco CA, San Antonio TX, Chicago IL, or Remote possibly.  This position will require a minimum of handling Construction Defect Cases of three years.  Client would like to have a JD in the position; however, will consider experience over education.  You must have strong litigation skills, coverage knowledge, ability to manage claims counsel, with strong negotiating/risk transfer knowledge.  Claims are national, mostly coming from CA (PST).

  • Excellent Verbal & Written abilities
  • Strong Customer Service, our client is absolute about Phone etiquette
  • Ability to travel on an as needed basis

Compensation:  $100K - $125K, bonus 5%-7.5% plus benefits.  Potential for REMOTE employment if you are more than 200 miles from office location.  Ability to work two days from home after probationary period and at Manager's discretion.

Second, you’ll want to make sure the challenge sounds interesting to you.  In this role you will:

Interact with our customers each and every day via email, telephone, and written correspondence.

Using your highly specialized knowledge in construction defect claims, adjudicate very complex claims reflecting the highest degree of technical complexity and coordination for our customers.

What will you need to be successful?  

A minimum of ten years’ experience adjudicating construction defect claims.

A relentless desire to continually update your skill level through continuing education and self-development (we’re a bit fanatical about this, so you should be too).  So you should already have your bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.  (Please note four additional years of related experience adjudicating construction defect claims beyond the minimum experience required above may be substituted in lieu of a degree.)  Having earned industry specific designations as well is helpful, but not required.
