Claims Advocate- Multi-line

Individuals and businesses that partner with our client are diverse and often have very complex needs. As a Senior Claims Administrator, you will play an integral role in the relationships between Property & Casualty and Personal Lines Clients; as well as with insurance carriers. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of insurance coverage and excellent communication skills. As a Claims professional you will be responsible for taking claim reports and sending claims to the appropriate insurance companies. You will handle claims from start to finish and ensure that Clients get paid for their damages. You will work closely with our Clients, the Claims Management Services Team, Producers and Account Managers.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A. Takes claim reports, via telephone and email from Clients and claimants and sends to appropriate insurance companies.

B. Compiles all claim information and prepares accord form for submission of claim to the proper carrier.

C. Follows up on all claims via telephone and email to determine claim status and payments, and ensures Client gets paid for their damages.

D. Generates monthly claim update reports on all General Liability, Automobile and Property claims for premier Clients.

E. Resolves problems on claims and coverage issues.

F. Enters claim status into AMS360.G. Adjusts claims for Clients through other Carriers.

H. Sets up claim files, and sends insured’s acknowledgements of claims received.

I. Generates monthly claim update reports on all assigned claims.

J. Works in various carrier portals to check on claim status.

K. Interacts with Producers and Account Executives on claims.

L. Assists with other projects as assigned by Director of Claims Management Services

QUALIFICATIONS:

A. Education: College Degree preferred

B. Experience: Minimum of 5 years claims experience

C. Preferred Qualifications: Good understanding of General Liability, Property and Commercial Automobile coverages and Personal Homeowners and Auto? Good organizational skills. Detail oriented? Ability to work effectively under pressure? Good written and verbal communications? Ability to work in Team setting? Interpersonal skills, including relationship-building skills with Producers, Account Executives, Clients, and Team Members? Good computer skills; Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
