Our client is currently adding an Underwriter to their team in the Midwest. As an Underwriter, you will work to manage a book of business.. You will build relationships by effectively communicating and negotiating with agents and insureds.
This position is a remote, work from home based desk underwriting position that can be located in: the states of Nebraska, Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota, Kansas , Wisconsin or Iowa, South Dakoka, or Minnesota as a work from home underwriter.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND OVERVIEW
• Minimum of 3 or more years prior insurance underwriting experience required
• Experience underwriting Workers' Compensation is a definite plus
• Proven decision making and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
