Our client, a growing, dynamic niche underwriter, is looking for an Underwriting Leader in its Western, MA office about 1/2 hr from the Hartford area..
This position will be responsible for the training and day-to-day management of a small commercial lines underwriting team that writes new and renewal accounts as well as maintaining a small book of business.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of successful commercial underwriting experience. Management experience is preferred but will consider a strong CL underwriter looking to move up into a leadership role. Experience with public entity risks is a plus. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
