Risk Consultant - Healthcare

General Placement Service is currently recruiting for an Senior Risk Consultant to manage a book of healthcare accounts in the state of South Carolina.  This position will be responsible for all aspects of maintaining these accounts.  This role is working for an insurance carrier, so the Risk Consultant will engage with insureds and with the broker distribution network.  My client has extensive value added services that they provide to their insureds, so experience communicating risk management best practices to individual risk managers and groups of employees is highly preferred. 
 
To be qualified for this position candidates must have a minimum of 5 years insurance experience either in an agency service role, carrier underwriting or claims position, or wholesale broker service role.   This position requires strong service skills and some sales ability as it will inherit a book of business and be responsible for some new business in the territory.
