Social Media Specialist, HR


Overview

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as Social Media Specialist. This role will be the community moderator for AmTrust Financials and direct-to-consumer social media accounts. This key contributor will develop content and drive engagement in brand-appropriate social media channels including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Glassdoor. The successful candidate will monitor and participate in all conversations that take place on our pages, as well as help plan the overall social media calendar to help drive brand awareness and create brand advocates.

  • Discover trending topics to engage the brand
  • Research and monitor competitors presence on social media
  • Monitor feedback and forward messages and responses to the appropriate divisions for attention
  • Participate in concepting & developing content that embodies brand message, visual aesthetic & social media best practices. Coordinates schedule and posts all approved content from calendars
  • Work with HR and marketing on initiatives to build employee engagement on our social media channels
  • Help monitor, track and analyze the performance of social media posts and channels and make recommendations accordingly
  • Liaise with internal teams, including in-house designers and photographers, to produce creative assets
Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 2+ years social media marketing experience
  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Strong understanding of social media best practices & tools
  • Ability to easily multi-task, prioritize and think creatively
  • Proficiency with all social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Glassdoor etc.) and tools (Social Studio, Bit.ly, etc.)
  • Familiarity with community management and an affinity to engage with consumers
  • Ability to pull and read analytics to adjust campaigns and strategies accordingly
  • Proactive, driven and creative with strong organizational skills
