Our client is a highly entrepreneurial Property and Casualty Insurance carrier and they are seeking a Construction GL specialist.  This company has seen incredible growth over the past 10 years and are poised to continue to grow in double digit percentages.  We are looking for someone who has a strong background in handling Construction Defect claims for general contractors, mid to low level sub-contractors as well as small specialty contractors such roofers, plumbers etc. You should have a solid knowledge of construction contracts, policy language in construction GL policies, endorsements, limitations of coverages and exclusions. You should be very aggressive with identifying transfer of risk, pushing other carriers to share in defense costs were there is time on risk exposure. This role will include a mix of oversight of a program handled by a TPA and directly handled claims. 

Qualifications:

• Significant experience working in multi-lines of coverage -At least 8 yrs experience in GL, construction defect and Commercial Property Claims - Required
• Licensed insurance adjuster specializing in direct handling
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized and efficient ; Strong organizational and analytical skills ; able to prioritize effectively to accomplish objectives with creativity and enthusiasm
