Financial Reporting & Analysis Manager

About the Role
The Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis assists the Director, Financial Reporting & Analysis with financial reporting, planning and forecasting, and expense management. Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage relationship with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) and Modeling teams in producing strategic business plan and projections, including scenarios and sensitivities, forecasts and updates
• Prepare plan presentations and analyses
• Prepare budgets, expense analyses and other financial data
• Analyze and report monthly on expenses
• Provide regular forecasts of expenses
• Monitor outstanding expenses and accruals
• Prepare analyses of expense gap and unit expense analyses on a regular basis

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economic, Accounting
• Financial planning and/or reporting background required
• Minimum 5 -10 years of experience in pension risk transfer (PRT)/payout annuities strongly preferred; individual life insurance/annuities acceptable
• Solid knowledge of US statutory accounting required; knowledge of IFRS preferred
• Experience with management reporting, financial reporting metrics, and financial controls & processes

Compensation & Perks
$115,000 to $120,000 + bonus target of 15%
