Commercial Insurance Marketer

About the Role

As Commercial Insurance Marketer you join a 3-person marketing team in this national insurance broker’s Health & Human Services division. You design and build commercial insurance programs, negotiate/analyze coverage forms and produce full proposal presentation documents for the client on all assigned new and renewal business. Prior experience working as an underwriter, account manager or placement specialist with accounts in the non-profit, social services or commercial healthcare sector is highly desired.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Spearhead new and renewal marketing plans for complex current accounts and prospective new business deals
• Set timelines with sales and service staff to prepare submissions, anticipated negotiations and sales presentations
• Evaluate claims data, pricing trends and coverage enhancements to compose the best possible, most comprehensive insurance program for clients
• Find ways to creatively bring alternative funding, loss control and other company resources into the fold to enhance the client’s risk management plan

Skills & Experience

• At least 5-7 years of commercial insurance experience with account placement/brokering, underwriting, marketing or client service
• Experience must include prior work with Health & Human Services accounts such as multi-physician practices, healthcare, non-profits and social services

Compensation

$65k-$85k target salary depending on experience
