Catastrophe Claims Manager- Texas or Louisiana

This newly created role requires someone that possesses knowledge of all aspects of catastrophe management to include logistics, workload management, training, cycle time and quality management. Experience managing Third Party Property vendors is preferred.  They should have a strong technical claim handling in personal property coverage and policy interpretation. The candidate should have experience managing large losses and can provide leadership to a claims team.

  • Expected to work extended hours/days during catastrophe response
  • Strong working knowledge of Xactimate
  • Manage catastrophe orientations, emergency response, and onsite assistance of independent adjusting partners
  • Train, manage, evaluate, and develop TPA firms
  • Monitor workloads and work quality
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Seven (7) to ten (10) years of property claims experience. Previous managerial experience preferred
