General Placement Service is actively recruiting for an underwriting organization in the greater Portland area that is seeking a Commercial Lines Processor or Underwriting Assistant. This position will fully support a team of commercial underwriters by processing incoming requests for information. The role will require comfort working in a fast paced environment where candidates will learn a substantial amount about commercial underwriting as time goes on. There is excellent advancement potential!
To be qualified, candidates must have a valid Property & Casualty license and at least 2 years commercial account management or underwriting assistant experience. A thorough understanding of Umbrella and Excess coverages would be very helpful.
