Adjuster- Auto, GL, Property Adjuster - Temp to Perm

ADJUSTER -- AUTO & GENERAL LIABLITY LITIGATED BI & PD  CLAIMS
 
Claims Representative III is an advanced claims handling position in terms of managing, investigating and resolving serious claims.  Assigned claims might involve severe property damage and/or complex bodily injuries, including fatalities and wrongful death claims filed against a local municipality. 

Qualified applicants should have three years or more experience in commercial liability claims adjusting, with emphasis on mass transit, automobile and general liability claims.
 
 Responsibilities:

Adhere to the requirements within Section 111 of the Medicare, Medicaid, and SCHIP Extension Act of 2007. Familiarity with Medicare regulations is important.

Manage a caseload of approximately 150 claim files, some with multiple claimants, pertaining to operations liability

Perpetual evaluation of reserves for property damage and/or bodily injury claims with exposures of $25,000.00 or greater (subject to change)

Investigating claims, issuing timely reports, thorough diary reviews, managing litigation, and demonstrating excellent organizational skills

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate and three (3) years of experience in investigating, settling and handling automobile property damage, bodily injury and general liability claims.
 

This is not a remote position. Work is: In Office in Baltimore, MD 

The salary ranges around mid $50’s depending on experience + benefits when perm (approx. 4 months)
