You have daily contact with agents to discuss risk acceptability, coverage applicability, pricing, and more. Remote within Texas.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Generating, underwriting, and analyzing accounts
- Risk selection by qualifying leads and identifying target market
- Communication with brokers for new and renewal business
- Pricing and issuance of multiples quotes with selected markets
- Development and maintenance of strong broker relationships including visitation
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of commercial property & casualty underwriting experience with specific expertise in garage and car dealership programs
- Multi-line P&C background to include Commercial Auto, Garage Keepers Liability, Dealers Open Lot, Commercial General Liability, and Commercial Property
- Established relationships with retail agents writing garage and used car dealerships
