About the Role

The Insurance Agency Trainer- Commercial Lines position is newly created to accomplish three main objectives for this nationally recognized independent insurance brokerage:

  • Complement the work of the agency’s current trainer who lives outside of Phoenix. This reduces their travel, adds more capacity for training throughout the organization, and provides more one-on-one, daily training resources to the Phoenix commercial property & casualty client service team.
  • Allow the company to start a ‘New to Insurance’ recruitment track for those new to the industry who want to make the service side of the insurance business a career. You will supervise this group along with taking the lead in onboarding new colleagues and performing 30/60/90 progress reports.
  • You will offer more training to existing colleagues on client service best practices, systems utilization (Sagitta, ImageRight, CSR24, etc.), as performance issues arise and to temporarily cover books of business if someone is out unexpectedly.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 5-7 years of commercial insurance industry experience; prior agency client service experience is required
  • At least one (1) year of team leader, training, systems rollouts and/or systems training experience is required
  • Applicants must have worked as a Commercial Insurance Account Manager with a desire to move into a training/supervisory position
  • Active state insurance license
