Claims Manager- Homeowners
Our client is seeking to fill a newly created role initially managing the current TPA outside organization and simultaneously developing a ground floor in-house Property Claims department. The Property Claims Manager must have a minimum of 10 years of personal property claims experience, at least 3 of that being in a supervisory role. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of building a high-performance team and management of Independent Field and Desk adjusters. Must have a strong technical claim handling background in personal property coverage and policy interpretation within multiple coastal states.
- Manage hire and develop a staff of inside adjusters handling personal lines property
- Claims Management of Vendors and Independent Adjusters
- Train, manage, evaluate, and develop assigned staff
- Monitor workloads and work quality
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of property claims experience. Previous managerial experience preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
