 Senior Adjuster: Auto Dealership/Garage Keeper’s/ Commercial Auto--Work From Home --Perm

As an Inside Commercial Auto Examiner II, you will be responsible for the review, analysis, and processing of Auto Dealers/Garage Keeper’s- Commercial Auto claims within assigned authority limits and consistent with policy and legal requirements. The Senior Claims Examiner is responsible for the review, analysis and processing of complex claims within assigned authority limits and consistent with Auto Dealership policies and legal requirements.  These Auto Dealer claims are typically high exposure and often entail litigation and coverage issues 
 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent industry experience
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals with a minimum 7 years complex/major claims experience
• Auto Dealer/Garage Keeper policy interpretation and claims handling experience a plus, but not required. 
• Knowledge of tort law, civil procedure, and contract law
• Knowledge of auto insurance laws, medical/legal terminology, codes, procedures, and liability concepts
• Proficiency in investigation and resolution of  severe to major level casualty claims 
• Must possess a license from your domiciled (state you live in or designated home state) state and a minimum of one license in any of the following states: NY, TX or FL.
  • Additional State Adjuster License(s) may be required within 180 days
• Maintain licenses and continuing education requirements in all states.
• Ability to work in a paperless environment
• Computer literate and experience navigating various computer systems, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook and database management.
• Negotiation skills
• Valid Driver’s license and availability for local travel

  The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday at 37.5 hours a week.
