General Placement Service is currently working with a highly rated reinsurance carrier seeking an Underwriting Director manage large property accounts in New York City. This is an in-office position and will require agency visits in NYC and regular travel throughout the New Jersey and Connecticut.
The main responsibility of this role is to market the company’s products by developing client relationships and underwriting risks. They’re looking for an outgoing, team player who can collaborate with other staff members to ensure company growth and success.
Qualifications
•5+ years of Large Property underwriting experience
•Bachelor’s Degree required
•Designations such as ARe and CPCU are a plus
