About the Role

With decades of experience and success under their belt, this firm is poised for great success in the near future. Which has created a need for a Vice President of Compliance to step in and provide operational leadership and regulatory guidance for the Medicare suite of products and services they provide to both their brokerage and career agent distribution channels. 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Work with management team to develop, implement and oversee compliance requirements and processes.
  • Design and implement effective measurement and tracking tools.
  • Monitor and audit internal and external partner’s compliance with programs and procedures.
  • Perform due diligence assessments of potential and current partners including on-site audits when possible.
  • Work with General Counsel to manage all external communication as it relates to compliance.
  • Oversee corporate response to inquiries or audits including consumer complaints and carrier audits.
  • Monitors the implementation of corrective action plans.
  • Work with training staff to develop and implement training programs designed to improve compliance and quality.
  • Evaluate new marketing programs and collateral for compliance issues and provide guidance for remediation.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required and 8-10 years working in the fields of insurance compliance or quality assurance.
  • Experience creating sales processes within regulatory frameworks of HIPAA, CMS, and TCPA.
  • Experience in a Call Center sales environment or with Medicare Advantage sales compliance with a carrier.
  • Experience with call center compliance tracking and measurement tools.
  • Experience communicating regulatory requirements to non-technical staff or partners.
  • Must be able to effectively evaluate contractual and regulatory requirements, understand their impact on the business, and design creative compliance solutions.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks

$150-200,000 + competitive benefits package
