DISABILITY INSURANCE CASE MANAGER- Perm- near Portland, OR

Job description:
Responsible for reviewing and processing new disability insurance applications from receipt of application to policy placement.

Act as liaison between insurance advisors and insurance carriers to ensure all applications are processed in a timely manner with strong attention to detail.

Frequent communication and coordination between insurance agents, insurance carriers, and internal resources.

Provide a superior Customer Service experience throughout the process while negotiating for the best offers with our insurance carriers.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment and problem solving

Demonstrated time management and organizational skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to communicate precisely and professionally in both verbal and written communication with internal and external customers alike

Ability to react to change in a productive and positive manner. Ability and willingness to support team to accomplish team goals. Great attitude and possess a customer service mentality

No License Required

Must have 5+ years of Disability Insurance experience working with Brokers, Clients and Carriers. 
Pay: based on experience to $70K + benefits

Work will be in the office, with possibility of Hybrid work arrangements  (home & office work) after training.
