Personal Lines Auto Claims Manager- (Remote)

  • This is a well financed new start-up personal lines Auto and Homeowners organization that is going live April 1st writing in 40 states.
  • This ground floor opportunity will provide an excellent base salary, 15-30% bonus potential and an equity position to be determined.

Auto Claims Manager with a minimum of 10 years of personal lines multi-state claims experience, at least 3 of that being in a managerial role. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of all aspects of personal lines auto exposures to include workload management, training, cycle time and quality management. Seeking a strong technical claims handling background in personal lines auto coverage and policy interpretation and should be familiar with techniques to gauge and manage performance and results. The candidate should be a solid communicator both verbally and in the written form. The ability to interact professionally and effectively with executive level management is a must.

  • Experience managing Third Party Auto vendors is heavily preferred.  
  • Ensure all claims meet or exceed quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and reinforce behavior that furthers technical and customer service performance expectations.
  • Continuously seek innovative approaches to address organizational issues. Ensure effective communication by the management team with internal and external customers.
  • Prepare reports and statistical data on behalf of department regarding performance, cost, and staffing and resource allocation.
  • Participate in committees and projects designed to enhance the organization's goals and objectives.

Essential Job Requirements:

 

  • Auto Claims Manager with a minimum of 10 years of personal lines multi-state claims experience, at least 3 of that being in a managerial role.
  • Four-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience required.
  • Obtainment of industry related designations (CPCU,SCLA, AIC) and participation in management related course study preferred.
