Director of Network Development & Medicare Contracting

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Director of Network Development & Medicare Contracting is accountable for provider network strategy and overall performance throughout the New York market, specifically focused on developing networks to support Medicare Advantage and Group Retiree accounts. This role will provide subject matter expertise and functional leadership to a team of direct reports, as well as to other directors and segment heads within the provider contracting organization.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees Medicare contracting, reimbursement strategies and risk models for New York.
• Leads the development and implementation of new provider network designs.
• Prospects and onboards new vendor and partnership arrangements.
• Partners with the local Medicare sales and business development teams to develop joint growth strategies, identify market expansion opportunities and product enhancement partnerships.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 8-10 years network development and management experience.
• Experience in negotiating and designing Medicare value-based payment arrangements and fee-for-service core contracting.
• Strong Medicare experience.
• Must have value-based contracting experience.
