About the Role
Worker’s Compensation Claims Advocate is an immediate job opening with an independent insurance agency in Dallas, TX. You will be the ‘go-to’ liaison for claims activity for worker’s compensation claims. You will also be asked to assist with personal lines homeowners and auto claims. Here are a few talking points on the position:
- When claims occur you gather information and file a claims report.
- You double-check all the details in their policy and their claims report for accuracy.
- You follow up on open cases, answer client questions and provide general advice on the claims process, anticipated timing, and potential resolution.
- Worker’s compensation and personal lines auto & homeowners audits and file review.
- Gather loss data for preparation of premium and loss summaries and evaluation of account performance and profitability.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of worker’s compensation claims handling experience.
- Excellent communication & customer service skills.
- Highly organized with great attention to detail.
