Work Comp Claims Clerical Assistant (In CA - Remote -Temp to Perm)

JOB SUMMARY
An immediate need for several full-time REMOTE and TEMP to possible Perm Work Comp Claims Assistant to support our California workers’ compensation claims Examiner in the department; can be located preferably in Southern California, but anywhere in California as long as technical requirements are met. 

The Claims Assistant will assist Workers Comp Claims Examiner from inception through settlement and closure, helping to ensure timely processing of claims and payment of benefits.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
**Must reside in the State of California and be legally capable of assisting in administering State of California workers’ compensation claims.*****

• California Claims Assistant Experience required
• Bilingual Spanish/English required for one of the two positions!
• 3+ years recent workers compensation claims handling assistant experience
• Ability to work in a paperless environment
• Computer literate and experience navigating various computer systems, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook and database management.
  • ClaimsXpress program experience preferred but not required
• Valid Driver’s license and availability for local travel
• High school diploma required

Hourly pay based on experience and location. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday at 37.5 hours a week with the option of a flex schedule.
