Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team as a Commercial Lines Specialist for a well-respected and longtime insurance company in Central Iowa. They seek an organized and experienced professional, who also can work autonomously with good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. In this role you will work actively with current clients to periodically review their policies and coverages to ensure they have the coverage they need at a price they can afford.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist new business team by providing quotes and binding new business at times of peak volume
• Assist client service team with daily service and policy admin requests
• Remarket policies to additional carriers to find potential alternatives that meet the client’s needs
• Accurately input customer data into carrier websites, quoting systems, and agency administrative system
• Review quotes for accuracy, prepare proposals, and issue policies through agency relationships with insurance carriers
• Develop relationships with prospective customers and promote the sale of property and casualty products

Skills & Experience

• 2-3 years of progressive insurance experience working with commercial lines property and casualty products and services
• Commercial lines license required within 60 days of hire
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail

Compensation & Benefits

$55-65,000 + comprehensive benefits package
