About the Role

Join one of Phoenix’s emerging independent insurance brokers as Commercial Insurance Account Manager in a three-person team handling a $1MM+ legacy book of business. The accounts are accustomed to high-touch service; you and the Senior Producer will directly engage with clients on all deliverables and renewal strategies. You will also oversee the work product of two junior associates that handle CSR/processing duties.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage in-force clients in various stages of their annual policy cycle. From daily policy admin transactions with the account manager to more sophisticated client engagement issues and renewal preparation. 
  • Handle the marketing process from A-to-Z. Compile submissions and work with underwriters on risk analysis and gaps. Discuss coverage recommendations with clients (even identifying upselling and cross-selling avenues). 
  • Assist the producer with developing service timelines for top tier clients.
Skills & Experience
  • At least three (3) years of Commercial P&C insurance experience in client service and account management. 
  • Must have experience in the marketing process which can include direct or indirect experience with underwriting or placement/brokering.
  • Multi-Line coverage background- CGL, Property, Auto, Work Comp, and Professional lines.
Job Specs

Location: Hybrid schedule available for Phoenix area residents or 100% remote, work-from-home for applicants in the Mountain Standard Time zone. Experience with the agency management system Epic is required for remote candidates.


$85k-$100k total target compensation depending on experience.
